Why Investing in Women in Tech Sales Is a Win for Real Estate

From February 3–6, the 42nd Women in Tech Sales (WITS) Bootcamp brought together an incredible group of women ready to break into tech sales. Over the course of a fully virtual and highly immersive week, participants gained practical training, career coaching, and direct exposure to companies actively looking to hire.

The energy throughout the week was undeniable. Conversations were candid, learning was practical, and the sense of momentum was real. As a hiring partner, we were proud to be part of a program that doesn’t just talk about opportunity—but actively creates it.

Why This Matters to Us at VendorPM

At VendorPM, we believe investing in people is how stronger teams and better technology are built. Supporting women in tech sales isn’t a one-time initiative for us; it’s a long-term commitment to building a more inclusive, innovative industry.

Programs like WITS reinforce what we see every day within our own team: when people from diverse backgrounds are empowered with the right tools, mentorship, and access, everyone benefits—companies, customers, and the industry as a whole.

At VendorPM, we’re big believers that great companies are built by investing in people early. Partnering with WITS helps us bring in driven, diverse talent and grow the next generation of tech sales leaders. - Ashley Charbonneau, People and Culture Manager

Spotlight: Growing Careers Through WITS

One of the most meaningful parts of partnering with WITS is seeing the real impact it has on individuals navigating their careers in tech sales. The program doesn’t just open doors—it builds confidence, skills, and community.

For Amy, now a Sales Representative at VendorPM, WITS was more than a bootcamp—it was the opportunity she had been working toward.

After actively looking to join the program and finally completing the bootcamp, Amy was hired by VendorPM shortly after graduating—turning preparation into momentum almost immediately.

She reflects:

Completing the WITS bootcamp was a defining experience for me and my career. It gave me the confidence to step fully into tech sales, sharpen how I communicate my value, and connect with women who are ambitious, driven, and pushing boundaries in the industry. Programs like WITS show how powerful the right environment and support can be in accelerating growth. Seeing VendorPM actively support initiatives like this speaks volumes about the culture we’re building, one that invests in people, values development, and creates real opportunities for women in tech. I’m proud to be part of a company that genuinely supports this kind of momentum. - Amy Gray, Sales Representative & WITS Alum

Stories like these are exactly why we continue to invest in programs that create pathways into tech and support professionals at every stage of their journey.

Diversity Drives Performance

From a sales perspective, diversity directly impacts how teams connect with customers, solve problems, and grow.

Different experiences lead to better conversations. Different perspectives lead to stronger solutions. And teams that reflect the diversity of the market they serve are better positioned to succeed.

Inclusion fuels growth. Through my sales leadership role at VendorPM and work with WITS, when Sales teams reflect diversity, more productive conversations take place, resulting in improved results! - Harveen Grewal, Sales Development, Manager

Looking Ahead

We’re incredibly proud to partner with WITS and to support their mission of advancing diversity in tech—one cohort at a time. This is work we’re excited to continue investing in, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes our teams, our products, and our industry stronger.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to showing up, sharing knowledge, and creating opportunities that help move tech sales forward—together.

And we’re just getting started.

We’re growing our Sales Development team and looking for ambitious, driven individuals ready to make an impact in real estate tech.
